Artist shop windows signed by Eva Jospin

On the occasion of Biennale d’Arte Contemporanea di Venezia, Hermès presents Déjeuner sur l’herbe, work of the artist Eva Jospin, realized on purpose for the boutique of the maison in San Marco. The piece, inspired to the themes of nature and trees, will be placed in theshop windows of the store, with two installations realized in cardboard, a recovered material that the artist works in layers, according to the technique ofhigh and low-relief, decoupage and perspective. The great lawn of Déjeuner sur l’herbe was completed with a vertical wood in which branches and leaves draw a fairy tale setting.
Eva Jospin was born in France in 1975 and graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérior des Beaux-Arts de Paris. For years she has been exploring the theme of nature. Her forests, recently exhibited at Palais de Tokyo in Paris, are life-sized sculptures and instalations, this is a tribute to the trees and their matter – wood – recovered through the use of paper and cardboard.
The cooperation with Eva Jospin marks a new step in the path that since years connects the Maison to contemporary art. The installation Dejeuner surl’Herbe will be exhibited in the windows of Hermès in Venice during all the month of June 2015.
